Donations in favour of School for Children Onlus are tax deductable
Under art. 14 of Decree n. 35 dated 14/03/2005. Donations in money or in kind made by people or bodies subject to income tax in favour of non profit-making organizations which are socially useful which under art. 10, clauses 1, 8 and 9, under legal decree n. 460, dated Dec. 4th, 1997, as well as those made in favour of associations for social promotion registered under the national register as prescribed under article 7, clauses 1 and two of the law n. 383 dated Dec. 7th 2000 are deductable from the overall income of the donating subject within the limit of 10% of the overall income declared, and up to a maximum amount of € 70,000 annually. In order to avail of the deduction it is necessary to retain the donation receipt (which can be requested from The Financial Administration). Receipts issued by the Body relating to cash donations are not valid for tax reductio purposes
